The Chrysler Hybrid Car
The chrysler hybrid car for 2008 is the Aspen SUV.
Chrysler uses what is called a 2-mode hybrid system, because it uses both a low and high speed ECVT, or electric continuously variable transmission. In addition, there are 4 fixed gear ratios, which increase the overall efficiency. It also has regenerative braking as do other types of hybrid cars.
The 2008 Chrysler Aspen hybrid SUV is very much like the Dodge Durango SUV, also coming out in a hybrid version.
Both the Dodge Durango and the Chrysler Aspen hybrid models are said to give an 40% increase in fuel economy in the city, and a 25% savings on the highway.
