The Future Of Hybrid Cars

These are the upcoming models that make up the near future of hybrid cars. Most of these are coming out in 2008 or a couple years later.

Everyone seems to want to get in on the action, with hybrid SUVs really populating the future supply. But things change so don't be surprised if some of these never make it to market. On the other hand, if they go like hotcakes, you can be sure a whole new slew of hybrid models will be developed.

Toyota will come out with the Toyota Sienna hybrid minivan.

Honda will have the little Honda Fit hatchback.

GMC is bringing out the GMC Yukon SUV and the GMC Sierra pickup truck.

General Motors is bringing forth the hybrid Chevy Malibu sedan, the Chevy Silverado pickup truck and the hybrid Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.

Ford will have a hybrid Ford Taurus sedan, the Ford Edge SUV and the Ford Fusion sedan.

Mercury is coming out with two hybrid sedans, the Mercury Milan and the Mercury Sable.

Hyundai will feature the Hyundai Accent hybrid sedan.

Saturn will have the Saturn Aura hybrid sedan.

Mazda will come out with the Mazda Tribute SUV.

Lincoln will have its Lincoln MKX hybrid SUV.
